On 17th April 2010 the 14th SELECTED EVENT 2010 was held at Kulturní Centrum Vltavská in Prague.
Unfortunately, due to the European flight turmoil caused by activity of Iceland's volcano Eyjafjallajokull the special guest appearence of Douglas McCarthy was inhibited.
This time two support acts were taking part - Načeva/Pavlíček performing before and LAKESIDE X performing after RECOIL.
It was my 3rd event I attended and this was a very nice one.
Before the event I met Jakub (member of DEPMOD message board) checking out some Czech beer while having a nice chat. Later we met also Oliver (webmaster of Shunt) and a friend of him. Finally when we got into KC Vltavská we teamed up with Dennis who attended too with several friends of him. |

During the STRANGE HOUR there was a very good mood and response from the audience. A very large screen was used for the background projections - unfortunately the projections were a bit blurry but that didn't really harm the show.
After the show had ended we were given the opportunity to enter the backstage area. A lot of people were trying to get in but weren't lucky enough. We had again a great time incl. chats with Alan and enjoying some drinks. Jakub was so happy to meet Alan - he was shining like a little kid in front of the Christmas tree!
