EPILOGUE

 

 

The time was really running too fast and it was completely impossible to ask all the questions I had prepared. I think we touched less than the half of them.

 

So everything happened in a rushed way - we very quickly made some pictures with Alan - when he stood next to me he grabbed my hip and so did I with his one.

 

 

Alan: [to me]	Yeah, it's a long way to come. We had a short time. Sorry, I'm sorry I can't be here a bit longer for you but ... well, thanks for coming anyway [smiles]. And thanks for doing the Site!! The Website!
Tom:	You're welcome!

 

 

I gave a LIQUID CD to Alan to be signed for Vladimir - I promised to him that I'll try to get anything signed for him the day before the interview.

 

Philipp also gave a LIQUID CD to Alan to be signed for him and Marc got a copy of the BLACK CELEBRATION deluxe edition signed.

 

And as a very last question when I was almost out of the door I asked him if he received the DEPMOD t-shirt! This shirt was done for members of the DEPMOD forum and extra t-shirts were sent out in July 2005 to Alan resp. all the band members of DEPECHE MODE, their management, etc.

 

Although a confirmation was received from SHUNT Staff that the parcel with the shirt had arrived, it was still not clear if Alan really got it.

 

 

Tom:	Just a last question: did you get the DEPMOD t-shirt? It was a black t-shirt from a collector forum. It's a black shirt with six silver rings on the back...
Alan:	...did you send it...
Tom:	...it was sent to you...
Alan:	...from you?
Tom:	Vlad sent it.
Alan:	When? Recently?
Tom:	It was 2 years ago.
Alan:	No...
Tom:	Simon confirmed that it arrived, maybe he grabbed it, I don't know! [laughs]
Alan:	I can't remember! I possibly did get it, yeah. Possibly, I can't remember...
Tom:	...OK... [laughs]
Alan:	...sorry, I'm not sure [laughs]
Tom:	...thanks a lot! Bye!

 

 

So all of us three went out of the hotel to the bar in the opposite to the hotel and had beer and everybody was quite happy.           END
